Security updates for connected appliances sold in the Australia

In accordance with the Australia Cyber Security Act 2024, No. 98, 2024 Electrolux will provide software support services for Electrolux and AEG brand products for a minimum period of 5 years from when Electrolux last distributed the product for sale. This includes critical and important security updates that will be distributed if an update is rendered necessary to keep the product secure.
In some specific cases, Electrolux will provide software support services for Electrolux an other brand products for a shorter period time due to limitations of legacy systems. This includes also some limited cases where extended security software support will only be distributed if and when it becomes available. Please note that this impacts only the connected functions and will not affect the non-connected functionality of the product.
