Security updates for connected appliances sold in the United Kingdom

 In accordance with the UK Product Security and Telecommunications Infrastructure (PSTI) Bill No. 1007 of 2023, Electrolux will provide software support services for Electrolux and AEG brand products for a minimum period of 5 years from when Electrolux last distributed the product for sale. This includes critical and important security updates that will be distributed if an update is rendered necessary to keep the product secure. ​

In some specific cases, Electrolux will provide software support services for Electrolux and AEG brand products for a minimum period of 2 years due to limitations of legacy systems. This includes also some limited cases where extended security software support will only be distributed if and when it becomes available. Please note that this impacts only the connected functions and will not affect the non-connected functionality of the product.
